Confusion over Universal Sequence editing
« on: 14 Dec 2015, 07:26 »
Hi, I wonder if someone in the ether could help me in editing the Universal Sequence trigger as I am a little bit adrift.

I am working on the laying section and the first thing I want to do is work out the stake using the current_bet as the maximum liability. I think I have got it right, but wanted to check. (screenshot: 1.jpg)

The real trouble I am having is with the Conditions (screenshot: 2.jpg)

I want to lay the Favourite if it is priced between 1.50 and 2.00
AND the 2nd Favourite is priced at 6.00 or below
AND the 3rd Favourite is priced at 10.00 or below

I put the conditions in for what I wanted and then when I pressed ok I got an error message saying "Same level conditions and blocks must be connected by identical logical operators (AND, OR, AND NOT, OR NOT)." (screenshot: 3.jpg)

As I have no idea what the original conditions are monitoring, I am not sure what to do with them, or make the conditions work.  Can anyone help.

Also, if say I am on level 5 of the staking at the end of the day, does the software remember this between restarts or is there something I have to do to make it remember the trigger values?

Thank you in advance for any tips you can give on this issue.

Hi
In order for the trigger to run the laying trigger must have run 0 times, or the previous triggered event's status must be settled. The original conditions check accordingly.

You need a condition block for the correct and or logic:

selections lay price is between 1.50 and 2.00
and second favourites lay price is equal or less than 6.00
and third favourites lay price is equal or less than 10.00
AND              <--- click add block in the trigger editor
trigger laying number of runs is equal to 0 overall
or previous triggered events status is settled

ps do not delete the last settled market automatically, the trigger requires it to be in My Markets.

Thanks MarkV,

I am not sure what this means, is this a setting or something in the trigger?

I have now changed the conditions and it seems to be kosher. (screenshot: 4.jpg)

Also, is there anything else I have to do to save the trigger variable between sessions and restarts?

Thanks again, you've been a great help.

MarkV was referring to a setting, see the attached picture. Actually, you can keep the "Delete settled events automatically" on, but then also turn on the "Delete all except ... most recent markets".

You can do it only with constants, i.e. the user-made variables that have a global scope and are listed above the triggers. If that fits your situation, then simply choose "Remember last value" instead of "Start with initial value" next to the constant.
Always try your triggers in Test Mode before switching to real money!
