Database of all racing stats
« on: 17 Nov 2016, 07:47 »
Hi all,

I am sure it has been asked before - but is anyone aware of a good database one can buy, or access (free or paid), for all past horse racing stats?

Cheers

Hi Alfaman

There is the famous adrian massey site http://adrianmassey.no-ip.org/web1/

The 'generate custom report' option on the bottom of each page really allows you to fine tune your analysis.

It went dead for a while a few years back, but seems to have historical information covering recent years as well now.

It's always a good starting point for statistical analysis of uk horse racing.  Hope that hepls

Hi Alfaman,

Like armani just said, I started out using adrian masseys site too a few years back. I do not know who is running it now. It seem to be up-to-date, but I dont use it anymore as the Bsps are estimated the last time I looked.

The best site I use is DataForm. It takes a little getting used to though.  But once you are set up, it has historical bsp and isp results going back as far as you would need. It also has rankings and ratings of every thing under the sun.

But it is a little difficult to get used to.

I know Adrian Mount (RacingPost analyser) uses ProForm and swears by it, but I didnt like it.

ps

you can export selection lists for the days racing after you have auto analysed the runners using purpose built systems and then import that list to Mfpro to place your bets for you.

At least thats what I do with it

:)

Thanks guys, really useful stuff.  I used to use Massey and was not aware anyone had taken it over from him but what I really wanted data on my PC that I can analyse and use, but will definitely look into the other two.

Historical BSPs and other data on Betfair markets are no problem as I get them from Betfair but it is historical info on the runners I wanted to delve into.

Please note, BetFair is seems to be currently OFFLINE
