  • Hi,

I have been playing with the triggers that are provided with the free trial version of Market Feeder Pro 8 and the Time Machine (they're great by the way, thanks :)). I'd like to try something based on one of those, but I'm still unsure of how to program triggers correctly, so I was wondering if you could help.

What I would like to do, is to do the OPPOSITE of what one of the provided triggers does.

The trigger I'd like to 'reverse' is called: "back_green_up_trailing_sl_cycle.mft" ("backing, greening up, with trailing stop loss").

What I'd like the new trigger to do, is BACK when this current trigger would LAY, lay when it would back, and also swap the functions "offset ticks for greening up" and "stop-loss ticks for distributing the loss".

So, that is, when the current trigger would green up after 2 ticks, I'd like it to distribute the loss after 2 ticks, and when it would distribute the loss after a 12 tick stop-loss, I'd like it to green up after 12 ticks.

I hope that makes sense and also covers everything it'd need to do to reverse/do the opposite to what the trigger currently does. That is the the key thing I'm after - that it would do exactly the same as the current trigger, but in reverse.

Is this possible, and could you make this trigger for me?

Thank you very much in advance, and for the great software and service.

  • hi
sorry for the delay, i am still getting over the flu.
    here is your trigger
    there are 2 new constants
    Bet amount
Check price movement conditions               l=lay         b=back(original)

the constants are set to your instructions
but i think you need to have the green at 2 and the distribute loss at 12, you need to give the prices chance to change for the green up or you will have lots of losses from the quick distribute loss.

please use test mode until you are happy with your settings
