[TR] Evaluation for an existing trigger
« on: 10 Mar 2015, 15:36 »
Hi,

mcbee has helped me create attached trigger and he tipped me about a method to connect the evaluation to excel (son instead of manually copying it to excel as I do today it would be automated).

Attaching my manual excel, the ideal would be to have something like that automated if possible (I have tried to clarify any unclear topics by examples on row 3).

Thanks in advance, cheers
David

Hi,

See my comments in bold below.

Event
Premier league
will have the FULL market information. -OK

Betting sum
3
please explain. -"3" was just an example of betting sum, whatever money the trigger bets I want here.

Resultat-gross
"O"*-1 or "O"* "M"
please explain. -If it is possible to automate the gross result (without comission) - I want that here, otherwise leave blank.

Resultat-netto
"P" or "P" * 0,935
please explain. -If it is possible to automate the net result (with comission) - I want that here, otherwise leave blank.

Första målet
(pre in-play) favourite or (pre in-play) underdog
please explain. -Here I would like to know if it was the favourite or underdog who scored the first goal, if it is not possible to show in this way I can just take the team name of who ever scored first.

Get back to me if anything is still unclear, cheers.

hi
sorry for the long time, i use excel to record my greyhound and football records, so i had to add a sheet to test your trigger etc, so 3 profiles and my slow laptop takes a bit of time.
there is one new constant
this is the normal start row if using a new spreadsheet                 4
if you delete a row for some reason, then alter the row number
to the next EMPTY row

if you have many records, then it is a good idea to have monthly spreadsheets, so copy the original and rename each one (NOT THE SHEET) with the month name etc.

instructions.
download the trigger
download the excel spreadsheet

first use instructions
open your mfp profile
select   Settings (top right of bot screen)
select   Excel
UNTICK ALL options
under    Custom Cells & Formulae  ,  press   Clear All.
save

start of the day instructions
open the spreadsheet
open your mfp profile
press launch excel (top right corner of bet screen)
you should have a confirm message, There is an open instance of Excel. Do you want to connect to that instance?
PRESS      Yes

please use test mode until you are happy with your settings

Thanks mcbee - great stuff!

A final question: sometimes the back/lay spread shows a negative number - how can this be?

Cheers,
David

hi
sometimes the lay price has no value showing, so 0 minus the back ticks, will give a minus value.
there is another problem, the date, mfp does not have a standard date function, so i used the =today() (excel formula), but it changes ALL the dates to todays date,
so you will have to input the date manualy every day.
