FIx up of trigger
« on: 04 Nov 2014, 01:54 »
Hi Guys,

Can you please fix the trigger I have attached to the forum post. That way I know it'll work properly when I start testing.

The URL for the forum post is listed below.

hi
here is your trigger
in the constants you can set
Initial bet size
Maximum liability
Selections rank
Max lay price
Min lay book percentage
Max back book percentage
Minutes before the start time to place the bet
Number of steps in the loss recovery cycle
Step counter
Loss counter

the trigger will now place a bet at your required time set before the start time.
the bet amount will be limited by your set max liability and will continue to place bets at your max liability amount or less.

please use test mode untill you are happy with your settings

download the trigger below

Hi McBee, again thanks. This is great.

One more request that I am sure is another trigger and am happy to do but would love to know if it is possible first.

Sometime there are delays in races being settled. In this case is it possible to have a look at the last event that was bet on and if it is settled use the current formula to calculate the next bet size.
If the race isn't settled (which is sometimes the case) look at the last traded price of the horses and use that price to work out what won and then calculate the size of the next bet? ANd just then continue through the list of races.

If you could let me know I'd appreciate it.

hi
in a few delayed races it could be posible, but most races stop monitoring so the trigger cannot read the prices and it would be hit and miss as to the correct result, meaning you could be increasing the stake and putting more pressure on the bank for no reason.

Sorry McBee, one more question. If for some reason I need to restart MarketFeeder Pro in the middle of a recovery cycle the current loss will be reset to zero.

If I update the currentloss constant from zero to whatever the current loss is will the recovery cycle commence again over the number of bets set in the step constant.

If I put another trigger request in is it possible to code this trigger to allow for a restart of the trigger and be able to set how much is left to be recovered and how many recovery steps have already taken place?

Regards
Steve

hi
you can alter the values in the variable screen at any time.
open the user variable screen (top center of the bot screen)
type or copy and paste
currentloss
winstep
so before restarting the bot, write down the values of the currentloss and winstep.
then when you restart the bot AND monitor the first market.
hover the mouse pointer over the currentloss variable, then right click the mouse, then select set value, type in the value, now hit enter.
do the same for the winstep.

Thanks McBee,

Another question, you will be sick of them by now but as I find things with the trigger Id like to get the logic sorted.

If I have a loss of say $5 at $50 there is a loss of $250 and it will be usually recovered in the next 6 bets and that works fine. Where the issue is if the loss is say $500 for what ever reason (maybe the 4th recovery bets wins and it may take the loss to $650. The bot will attempt to recover the money over the next six bets but cant, usually because it is betting up the maximum liability already, so the next six bets may recover say $250 and then revert back to the default $5 bet. In these case can we keep on betting the increased bet size until the full loss is recovered (even if it takes 13 steps). If we hit another winner, the current loss will be updated again and we will continue betting up to the maximum liability until the loss is recovered.

If it helps I can draw a flow chart to make things clearer, please let me know. What I have there may be a little hard to understand.

hi
i am sorry but that will require another trigger request as the trigger has been made to you first instructions.
to alter the trigger to what you want will take more altering and testing.
