    Hi Trigger team

1, What I am trying to do is back or lay on the win/place greyhound market.

2, The selection I am looking at has a big spike of say £1000 either on a back or lay order.(I will explain what I mean on next paragraph)

3, If the price goes up with the spike in less than 30 seconds IE increases in price then I would lay the selection.

4, If the price comes down with the spike in less than 30 seconds IE decreases in price then I would back the selection.

    5, min price 2.00 max price 5.00

6, I want to do this at the very last moment before the off (going in traps).

7, I would think to start monitoring maybe at 1 minute from the start time.

8, I hope this can be done in 1 trigger if not 2 will be ok.

9, If no spikes no bet.

    Thank you in advance
    Mr McMahon

Do you mean a spike in matched volume or in the offered money on the back or lay side (unmatched volume)?

  • Hi Karma

I mean matched back volume and matched lay volume.

A spike like the one below tells me that this is a back bet or order for £200 placed just before the off this selection i would back (not a lot of liquidity in this race chart fo demonstration purposes.

A spike like the one below tells me that this is a lay order or bet for £1000 laid just before the off this selection I would lay.

The trigger would either back or lay according to the circumstances of the market.

I hope this helps you with what I am trying to do. If you need any more information please let me know.

    Than you Karma

  • Hi Karma
Please ignore the 2 charts above.

The link below replaces the chart for the matched back volume "back bet".

A spike like the one below tells me that this is a back bet or order for £130 placed just before the off this selection i would back (not a lot of liquidity in this race chart for demonstration purposes.

The link below replaces the chart for the matched lay volume "lay bet".

A spike like the one below tells me that this is a lay bet or order for £230 placed just before the off this selection I would lay

If there is no spike say more than £700 for dogs, obviously a lot more for horses maybe £10000 then no bet.

I have noticed that the dogs go off more or less on time the majority about 20 seconds after the off time I don't know if you can do something in the trigger for this situation as I am trying to place a bet as the flag goes up for the start of the race if I miss the odd race that my problem.

Thanks again sorry about the replacement charts.

    regards
    Mark

  • Hi Karma

I was thinking I would probably have to remember about 1 minute before the off the lay /back volumes of all the selections.

    Thanks Mark

  • Hi Karma

I sent you a couple of further conditions I was wondering if you have noticed them and is it possible to give me an idea when the trigger will be completed.

    Thanks
    Mark

  • Hello!

    Please see your triggers attached.

Use the constants inside to adjust the trigger settings.

I didn't come across any market where any selection would enjoy a spike of £1000 matched over a short period of time, so I used £500 as min_spike for testing purposes, but you can edit that value. There is a number of other settings you can play with.

Configure Monitoring Options to start monitoring events at 1 minute before the off.

Markets that did not qualify for a bet will be deleted automatically.

Make sure you've tested the triggers in Test Mode.
