Green-up function with abnormal behavior
« on: 05 Feb 2017, 12:35 »
Hello, I've just setup a simple trigger, that places a back bet, and then a green up trigger is fired, for a 5% profit.
The first round works well. But then we have a problem. If the back bet is placed a second time, the green up trigger automatically places a lay bet at the current price (usually 1 tick higher than the back bet!???), it doesn't take into account the 5% profit that he's supposed to make. I imagine the trigger sees we already have a 5% profit from the first round hat's why it places the lay bet immediately.
This situation also happens if I click on the "Auto-GreenUp" button and switch it to on, so I'm thinking I'm missing something somewhere. How can I "separate" the two back-lay betting sequences so the trigger makes 5% on each one of the rounds?
Thanks!

You are right in that the green-up function assesses the overall profit you will get based on all the bets you placed on a particular selection.

If you want each new green up to only consider the latest bet you placed to open your position, you will have to amend your triggers to manually back or lay to green up a fraction of the available bets.

See examples attached.

Oh, and the formulae in the triggers are based on this math:
