Green/Red Up at specific time before off

I'm totaly new to MarketFeeder but I have a few strategies im trying out but they all depend on the option to either green or red up at a specific time before the off.

What I'm at the moment is doing is trading on one or more selections. What I want the possibility to do with a trigger (or some other method) is the same as the "Take Profit/Loss" (I think that is what it's called) button on the Betfair website.

I have tried searching the forums but haven't found an answer. If this has been answered before, I'm sorry.

Please have a look in the manual (help file) available from the yellow question mark button on the top right of the main screen. Refer to the chapter Getting Started, and in there have a look at Frequently used Scenarios, Greening up.

I have had a look at the different scenarios posted. But to me it seems like a such a fundamental thing that I thought I had missed something obvious. I think I have it sort of figured out now (at least to an acceptable level).

Hmm, seems like I haven't figured it out.

How come this isn't an predefined trigger? I've been trying BetAngel and there it works like a charm. Just tell it to green up without parameters and it will either Green or Red up...

Green-up or distribute loss can be achieved using the auto-greenup function of the program. This is demonstrated in this video:

We can also use triggers to do this. Triggers allow much more flexibility and customisation. Attached is a screenshot demonstrating this. From the list of bets it can be seen I backed the selection manually at 10 minutes before the off. The trigger then greened-up at 1 minute before the off. If there had been a loss on the selection at one minute before the off, the red-up trigger would have fired instead.

I have attached a screenshot of the simple trigger file that achieved the above. It will green or red up 1 minute before the off, exactly as you describe.

I'll try out those triggers again. I think I have tried exactly that earlier but I believe that it didn't do what I want.

Regarding the video. That is not for me I think. I'm trading on only one selection (at the moment) and I create a profit on only that selection but right before the off I want to create a green book (or a red book if I have messed up).

Hi Trigger Happy you can try these triggers for  green red or close the bet before the off.
I have the green set for 3 ticks or if the price is against you a stop loss will trigger after 3 ticks and if neither has occurred it will close 1 minute before the off.
You can play around with the ticks and time to suit your needs but basically it will close the bet one way or the other i hope that is what you are after
