How can I select place markets that are handicaps, when they don't have Hcap in the market name?

hi
you will have to load and monitor both win and place markets , then use the winplace condition in the place market to choose win market handicap.

Thanks mcbee,  I was hoping there was a way of selecting them in Market Locator, or using a market code or similar.  So I would need to load all races, delete the win markets that aren't handicaps and then delete the place markets using the winplace condition?  I only ask because there is a competitor bot that appears to be able to accomplish this without all that messing about.

hi
I just checked the time machine handicap place markets 2013 and 2018 and they have the handicap info in the market information.
sorry but I cannot check the live markets at the moment due to betfair not having a betting licence in Bulgaria.
try using a different market selection method , there are 2 , 1 for todays markets and 1 for horse racing , one of them might have the Hcap in the place market.

No Hcap is not present with both selection sources.   I need to fully automate market loading for unattended use,  Looks as though deleting the non-handicaps using winplace in the triggers, will be the only method.

I don't think my requirement can be fulfilled.  I can delete all unsuitable win markets to leave only Handicaps with the appropriate number of runners.   But I can't delete the corresponding unsuitable place markets since with:
Selections Trigger Expression winplace_market_name   there is no option of Does not Contain "Hcap".
Any more ideas anyone, I only want to end up with Handicap place markets, but it doesn't matter if the corresponding win markets remain in the list.

Hi
not tested this but the principle should be right:

once you've deleted the unsuitable win markets
delete place markets where
runner_number is not equal to winplace_runner_number

edit:
and then after that you could delete remaining win markets to leave just the place markets of your choice
