Hi can someone explain why this trigger only works on some occasions.

the problems that i see is.
you are lay betting the 3rd SP fav
then you are backing the 3rd fav at .5 mins after inplay, this will be a different 3rd fav than the SP 3rd fav.
unless of course that is what you want to do.

Agree with mcbee.
Also, for the inplay back bet you are waiting until the back price drops to 2.00 or below and then backing at 2.00. It is likely that the back at 2.00 will remain unmatched. In the attached file I have edited your trigger a bit, and also changed the back price to 1.85. It should get matched then at 1.85 or above. You can change this to “best” if you want.
