  • I can't find the variable name of the trap number in greyhound races.
    Does it exists?

    Thank you

  • Hi
Betfair rules state that bets are made on trap numbers. If you look at a Greyhound Win Market, you will see the trap numbers correspond with the selection's index.

    So trap 4 is:
selection's index is equal to 4

    etc.

this is not 100% .. its only true if there are 6 runners .. on rare occasions you get 5/4 runner fields and any trap may be missing so sel_index is not accurate.

use selections name contains 1,2,3 etc.

Thanks. Does this rule still apply for today?
