Making Markets
« on: 29 Jul 2014, 08:18 »
Hi,

Is it possible for MFP to make markets. I don't mean just back @ lay prices and lay @ back prices. But say, I want to create an over-round of 110% or 106% or 102% as it gets nearer to an events start time. Likewise creating an under-round 90%, 95%, 98% etc.

I remember there was some betting software that allowed you to-do that but I cant remember what it was called.

Thanks,

Hi,

Yes I have looked at this but not sure it works.

I ran it on a football match odds and it lost allot of money. Test mode only. Also, it doesn't repeat the exercise.

What I would like is a trigger which creates prices into the market, when/if they are matched then it repeats the exercise.

I know people are using such automated software but I guess it is bespoke as I cant fine anything generally available. BF Bot Manager comes close with one of its modules but still doesn't really allow you to act as a constant market maker.

Please note, BetFair is seems to be currently OFFLINE
