Market Locator File

Hi there

I am looking for a market locator file that will search, from an excel file and load the races contained in that file at 10am every morning.

Would this be possible and what format should the excel sheet be?  Something like this?

DATE	COURSE	TIME
20/06/2019	Ripon	14:45
20/06/2019	Ripon	15:20
20/06/2019	Ripon	15:55
20/06/2019	Ripon	17:10

Hello!

Sorry, this is not feasible the way you requested it.

You can do this by creating a text file and then importing its values into Market Locator, but the names of markets in the text file must be in a strict format, identical to the format Market Locator uses, then you can search markets by names.

See an example of such text file attached (for tomorrow's races).

If this sounds like too much work, then let's just say that your request is not possible, and you can either cancel it or change the description to some other trigger task.

I am not sure this will be feasible.

With regards to the text file, would I have to input the full line of text, as you have written? 

Or could I input the race time ie 16:30, as there would only be one race at any given time. Would market locator find the race by time only?

I might tweak Market Locator so that it looked for part of the name if it was included in the file.

You would need to download and install the updated version of the program then.

As it turns out, Market Locator already knows how to do this. So you can just use the "contains values in file" condition in the search. 



I am attaching a sample text file with the list of today's races that Market Locator has successfully found for me. Use the same format to achieve your goal.
