Hi pteixeira07,

I don't have any changes, I was just wondering how it was working for you. I might give it a go, if I find anything to change I will post here.

Thanks,

Whitey

Nice contribution to this thread Larp......NOT !

I have enjoyed this thread immensely and congratulate Mark IV for his efforts. I can't benefit from the trigger as I can't bet in-play in my country.

Fortunately those that succeed take no notice of the knockers, that's why we have winners and losers in this world. The losers give up and believe the knocker while the winner ignore the knockers and keep trying.

I know who the winners are from this thread.
Please don't reply to this, you've had your say and here's one reply. Leave it be now and get back to your Alternate back and lay trigger.

Dear all,

First of all I would like to thank everybody who contributed to making this trigger. I think it is advantageous over all the previous OU Martingale trigger I have found.
I would like to carry out more tests and try to possibly upgrade it, however, I am struggling with memory problems. What I would like to do is to import as many events as possible in order to speed up the test and obtain significantly high statistical sample. Unfortunately, even for only 2-3 simultaneous events the program gets extremely slow and sometimes does not place bets correctly (due to the lag I assume).

Could anyone please help me with choosing optimal settings that would reduce the memory consumption? Is there any limit on number of events I can trade on simultaneously?

Thank you in advance

Hi
The main limiting factor is the Betfair Data Request limit of 20 per sec. More than that you will pay data request charges.

The markets for this trigger do not need to be refreshed at a high frequency. If you set the in-play refresh rate for the markets to somewhere around 30secs, the trigger should work OK and you can have more markets being monitored.

Please read the following disclaimer with regards to the information you may request and obtain on our forum. This specifically concerns trigger files and various instructions as to how to implement a strategy.

Thank you very much for your reply. It makes sense totally.

I am trying to load events for triggering and although all the conditions are TRUE (large volume and back prices), it deletes the markets. Log shows:

20:38:53   Checking market "Soccer / Singaporean Soccer / Singapore S League / Fixtures 28 August / Home Utd v Courts Young Lions / Over/Under 1.5 Goals".
20:38:53   Checking condition and Market's Name contains "1.5".
20:38:53   Selection: Over 1.5 Goals, initial expr.: "1.5", intermediate: "1.5", final: "1.5".
20:38:53   Selection: Under 1.5 Goals, initial expr.: "1.5", intermediate: "1.5", final: "1.5".
20:38:53   Condition is: TRUE. valid for 2 selections: Over 1.5 Goals, Under 1.5 Goals.
20:38:53   Checking condition and Selection's Index is equal to 1.
20:38:53   Condition is: TRUE. valid for 1 selections: Under 1.5 Goals.
20:38:53       Checking condition or Global User Variables nonqualMO_market_parent_id are set.
20:38:53   Selection: Under 1.5 Goals, initial expr.: nonqualMO_market_parent_id, intermediate: nonqualMO_27251872, final: nonqualMO_27251872.
20:38:53       Condition is: TRUE. valid for 1 selections: Under 1.5 Goals.
20:38:53       Checking condition or Global User Variables nonqual25_market_parent_id are set.
20:38:53   Selection: Under 1.5 Goals, initial expr.: nonqual25_market_parent_id, intermediate: nonqual25_27251872, final: nonqual25_27251872.

20:38:53   Going to delete market.

Olá pteixeira07, parabéns pela trigger. Por favor, me responda algumas dúvidas:
1. Depois destes 3 anos, você continua utilizando-a (OU_martingale_1_5_to_6_5_dist_loss_and_greenup_2.mft)? Tem dado certo? Tem obtido ganhos consistentes?

Hello pteixeira07, congratulations on the trigger. Please answer me some questions:
1. After these three years, you continue using it (OU_martingale_1_5_to_6_5_dist_loss_and_greenup_2.mft)? You have worked? It has achieved consistent gains?
2. What values you are using for your constant?
3. And when there 2 goals in a short time, eg a goal in the 30th minute and another goal after 31 minutes, gives a problem in the trigger? How it behaves in this case?
Already, I thank you.
