  • Hello, sometimes when I manually or automatically place back bets they do not get matched.

Is it possible for a Marketfeeder trigger to automatically match at the 3rd best price and if that fails chase the price down till a match is made?

  • Hello,

Yes, there is "Match unmatched bets" trigger action.

  • Hello, I'm still having some trouble matching bets with this trigger, I am placing bets with another application, normally dutching 3 to 5 horses with a lay on the 1st fave, however when the race goes in play  marketfeeder cancels most of the bets and I have to place them manually again. Am I using the trigger incorrectly?
    Hope you can help.

  • It appears to only accept bets of £1 or higher. Are there any settings options that would allow smaller bet sizes to be used with this trigger?

  • Sorry still the same issue with £1 bets.

  • I suppose the bet is lay, right?
Unfortunately there is a minimal liability for lay bets on BetFair (0.01).
So if the liability of the resulting bet is less than the limit the bet is not matched.
I'm afraid there is no way to match such bets...

  • Hi Tim, no they are back bets not lays.

  • Hi
Just wondering, are the initial before the off bets SP bets or "take SP"? Betfair minimum SP or take SP back bet liability is £1. They will accept a back bet below £1 before the off, but if it is set to take SP, and at the off the liability is less than £1, Betfair will cancel the bet.

  • Thanks Mark, I’ll take another look. Tried a test bet of £1 at odds of 100 a short priced horse but order was rejected.
