min/max traded price with specific volume
« on: 12 Feb 2015, 11:52 »
Hi,

I've been looking at the following article and wanted to give it a try with automation.

http://www.raceadvisor.co.uk/trading-the-simple-approach

I've been able to create a trigger for most of the conditions mentioned but unsure on the best way to identify the high and low traded points.

I notice there is an option for min and max traded prices over a certain time, an option for most traded price and an option to get the amount of money matched at a certain price, but is there a way to identify the lowest and highest traded prices overall with a minimum amount of £1000 matched?

I wouldn't know where to start trying to automate the part "Races with two clear high points like this should be passed. Focus ONLY on races which have one high point" but the above will be a good start.

Apologies if i've missed something obvious.

Thanks in advance,
Andy

Have you looked at the triggers examples  here on this site, for example:
