The triggers test OK.

Things to check:
If you are using the Import Selections for auto-trading, please make sure the markets you are betting in are loaded before using the Import procedure. If you do not have the markets loaded, the procedure cannot compare the imported list to the selection names.

Please make sure the bank percentage multiplied by the Win/Place percentage split does not result in betting below the minimum. If you will be betting below the minimum please turn on this setting:
Settings > Betting Options > Allow small bets

Check the spelling of the selection names in the file are exactly as per BetFair's spelling

As long as the selections Win or Place Actual SP falls within the set ranges, the triggers will fire. Please refer to the trigger logs at the point just as the market turns in-play in order to determine any other cause for no bets.

Okay Chaps,

An update.  I have just got back home and as I've just said no bets placed.  However, 4 have just been triggered while the comp was active.

I assumed the bot would work while the comp was asleep (otherwise what's the point of a bot?)  Am I wrong?

No bot or any other program will work when the computer is asleep.  You need to disable all hibernation & shutdowns.  It is also a good idea to disable automatic Windows update, since this usually results in an automatic restart.  You may have other programs which could also force a restart.

Obviously, I need to check but it looks like the bot is working, thank you.

Now, for the next stage. If I wanted to put ranges within ranges, is that possible?

i.e., if place range is 2.18 - 2.3 (as before) could I then add the criteria that BSP is less than or equal to 5.2 or 6 and over.

to use bsp, you need to add
and selections actual starting price is equal or greater than (the price you choose)

what do I use for Place ranges?  i.e. the bet matches my BSP range (say between 3.7 & 4).  But I want the place range to be between 1 to 1.69 or 1.76 to 1.8 or 1.96 to less than 2.1.

If someone would kindly adjust the trigger for one of the ten trigger variables I can do  the rest following the tenplate.

I'm getting a bit confused with Actual Starting Price and winplace_actual_sp

I will also try to sort as well.

winplace_  returns the variable in the other market to the one the trigger is executing in. For example:

If trigger is betting in WIN market
actual_sp is the BSP in the WIN market
winplace_actual_sp is the BSP in the PLACE market

If trigger is betting in PLACE market
actual_sp is the BSP in the PLACE market
winplace_actual_sp is the BSP in the WIN market

You will need to be careful not to mix up the ranges because your triggers cover multiple ranges and markets.
I suggest you add 2 more constants for a second PLACE range:
2ndPRL (2nd Place Range Low)
2ndPRH (2nd Place Range High)

The attached screenshot shows 2 additional conditions added to the first trigger.
Now this trigger will only bet in the WIN market if:
WIN market BSP is within Win Range 1
AND
PLACE market BSP is within 2nd Place Range

There will be occasions when there will be more than one second PLACE range.

How do I add additional winplace_actual_sp to the Trigger conditions?

Do I just have multiple active triggers or can I use an 'or' command to cover the ranges.

i.e.

Bet if WIN SP is between 3.7 AND 4 and Place SP is between 1 and 1.6, OR
1.9 and 2.1

Yes you can use condition blocks using OR. Please see attached screenshot which shows another place range added to the example in the previous post.
