Not in List & Not in File rules Not Working - baffled ??

Hello,

Previously I sucessfully had a trigger working where Horse was In List (eg. I had a list of selections to back as long as they were first 3 favs & backing the one first in market order and only backing one horse per race).

Now I just changed that trigger (attached) so that I would only back first horse starting from Fav down to 3rd Fav if it is NOT on that list.

Its not working & I don't know why - this afternoon I tested it by amending the TXT file by adding the name of the favourite in an upcoming race (so this horse should NOT be backed & then the 2nd Favourite gets checked and so on), re-saving the document, and re-uploading the same file name within the trigger editor, re-saving conditions, saving the trigger file and re-loading. Eg. doing everything I could for the updated TXT file to be recognised by the trigger.
It seemed sometimes it worked(eg. Fav would not be backed) but most of the time not.

Could a kind person out there take a look at my trigger and advise what might be wrong?? Would greatly appreciate the help. I've been working on a selection method for 18 months and was hoping to launch it by next weekend but I've hit a brick wall with this.

Yes, this is what I am doing - I am browsing and selecting the txt file from my hard drive. The horses names are listed one under another on this file.

To see what I mean, you could do what I'd did.
If u see a favourite coming up in 5 mins, add this horses name to the txt file, save it, then reattach the file through Trigger Conditions, Save condition, save block, re-load trigger - I was usually reloading the trigger with 90 secs left before race The trigger executes bets 20secs left.

All the other rules work (x price gap, bet one horse on) - the fav if listed in my file was sometimes successfully Not bet a few times I did this reloading but 80% of the time it didn't work & I just don't know why...

Is it a setting? My triggers start monitoring markets 2 mins before race.

I was suggesting that you try changing the condition:
and selections name is not in file ....
to
and not selections name is in file ....

I was hoping you would be able to test it?

I just tried changing that rule as suggested to "And Not"..Selection's.."Is In File" & I even reduced the number of horses listed in the file to be just those from the race (in case the number of horses listed in the txt file to check was slowing the condition down) and it is still backing the favourite. I even reverted back to the previous "And"...Selection's .."Not in File" with just the horses from the race but its still backing the favourite.

I am thinking that maybe that Condition is not having its answer returned to the Trigger or Block by the time the last condition completes and its just shooting off the bet irregardless.

If that's what it might be, is there a way of ensuring the answer from that Condition is sent back to the trigger ? Just don't know what else to do.

also if you are betting in ausy horse racing, the name in the list has to include the index/runner number.

I simply reverted to creating a list to back & using Is In File rule which is working.

Maybe this is a flaw with the bot as whenever I tried it as Not In File or And Not Is InFile as suggested it didn't work.
