  • Hi there.

Each day I have about 50 football games that I need the trigger to bet on. Each game needs to have 2 markets. So in total about 100 markets per day. What is the most time-efficient way on how to add those games? Currently, I'm manually searching for them but it takes a lot of time. Is there any way to speed this process? Or some kind of a search?

  • Hi
Are you using Market Locator? You can also save your search as a template and it can run automatically in the Scheduler.

  • Yes, I know the market locator. But every day the leagues are different and I don't want to trigger to  bet on the wrong leagues/games. Are there any other options for my situation?

  • can you give a simple example of what you need?

  • Today I had a selection of 60 football games. Most of them were in different leagues. So I went through the "Soccer - today's games" and had to find manually each game and add needed markets in order for the trigger to be able to bet on them. So my question is as follows - Is there a possibility to somehow make this search faster? Like the search of the games in Betfair or something like that?

  • Your selection of football games in different leagues for the day is in a file or list?

Market Locator condition: markets name contains values in file … path to text file
    OR
use Import selections for autotrading (see helpfile import selections for autotrading)
    OR
add all markets and use a trigger before your betting triggers to delete markets not needed (this is often used)

  • I get the list from a website interface.
Could you show an example of the last option? How that trigger will determine whether the game is my selection or not?

  • To be 100% you bet on correct market you must synchronized data from web site with betfair ones.

The best way is when web site uses betfair market itself, then naming convention is the same, and as well web site can use befair market id, as identification, so you can take that market id to load exact betfair market and as well choose selection.

When that is not the case then you need synchronization program, as your web site can use different names for teams (just slightly different), for instance: betfair use Man City, your web site can use full team name and so or.

I have done couple such program nad synchronizing data was always problem.

  • Hi
StefanBelo is correct, the selection names spelling must be exactly as Betfair's spelling.

to delete markets you can use:
    delete market
    conditions are not met
selections name is in file...path to text file

but marketlocator should do what you want to "search" Betfair:
