rank across markets
« on: 11 Oct 2016, 12:51 »
Hi,

Firstly apologies if this has already been asked before.

What would be the best way to rank across various markets.

For example lets say in horse racing there's ~30 UK markets on a specific day. How could I produce a list of say the top 3 horses across all markets with the highest volume matched on them?

This would be run just before the start of the first race of the day.

I understand this wouldn't always produce useful data as volume for example would increase the closer to the start time of each specific market, but still wondering the best way to do this?

Using variables would be fine or output to excel etc.

Thanks,
Andy

The problem is that trigger doesn't "know" when all markets have been refreshed (at least once to make the list).
In general it could be done with "Remember" trigger action.
But you need to, for example, add a counter for each remember trigger execution that is compared to number of markets to make sure all of them are counted.
