  • Hi,
I have had no success using stop loss triggers during 'in play' betting on tennis markets.
This is primarily due to a combination of volatility, setting off the trigger prematurely and thin markets which won't allow a stop loss when most needed. Lack of score lines and game and set data necessary for entry and exit points doesn't help either.
Am I missing something ? Do others experience this ? Is there any way around it other than abandoning the 'in play' on tennis idea completely ?
Just letting out a few built up frustrations :(
    Thanks
    R

  • The same issue arises whatever in-play market you try to trade. However, it does work fairly well if the market matched volume is > 1000000 as it often is on UK Premiership Football Matches.

Personally, I have never been convinced that the MFP distribute loss function works as it was designed too.
