[TR] Tennis early break lay trigger
« on: 02 Jun 2016, 19:03 »
Hi guys,
Is it possible for the following trigger to be created on MFP?  Can specific events i.e a break of serve in tennis be used?

If it is please could I request a trigger to be made?  Not sure if I have any credits etc but thought I'd ask the question, think it should be quite simple as only 3 specifics really.

Requirements would be:

Only players with an SP of 2.1 or under.
Lay if broken within first 2 service games of 1st set.
Green up with equal profit if +20% hedge becomes available.

Many thanks
Rob

hi
when you say   break of serve  , is this the first to serve or is it the first to serve but the other player is in front with points.
sp of under 2.1 or under, can you say exactly what you require.
sorry but i need to be correct with the conditions.

Hi Mcbee
It would be to Lay the player if they lose their service game within the first 4 total games.

Their SP must be under 2.1.

Does that fill in the blanks or do you need more info?  Points don't matter, it is a loss f a full service game I am looking for.

Hi Mcbee,
I’m a bit confused by the expressions in the trigger – think it's set up based on points ahead instead of games.
The trigger I’m after is very simply just BACKING the selection as soon as they LOSE a game where they are the server.
Constants look great on the trigger, I will play with those as I test.

Sorry I previously said to lay the player after they lose service game but really sorry I meant to BACK that player (or lay the other player who had just won the game).
Points are n/a as I’d be entering the market immediately after a game has finished so would usually be matched before the next game has even started (if anything points would be 0-0).

Really appreciate your help, my original request was using tennis 'language' i.e break of serve, I apologise I should have written it based on triggers and variables available on mfp.

hi
the points are used to find if the player lost there serve, but now you want to change to lost the game.

so it is based on the player with odds less than 2.1
then if they serve and lose the game not lose at the serve
you want to back the next game

Had a feeling that might have been the case.  Sorry.

If they lose their service game back them.  Earliest the trigger could get matched would be if Player 1 is serving the very first game of match and loses so score is 0-1 in games BACK player 1 before Game 2 begins.
You've got it right first time as they would have lost the last point when they lost their game just need to change to a back bet after my error.
Thanks for your patience.

hi
sorry last chance, i had already changed to games won and have been testing.
now have changed to points again, so any further changes by you will require a new request as every time there is a change i have to re-test the trigger and i can only use betfair live markets to test and it takes a long time.

Hi Mcbee,
I haven't actually changed anything from the original request apart from asking for the BACK bet instead of LAY which was my mistake.

The trigger I've requested I'd think should be very straightforward.
If a player with under 2.1SP loses their full service GAME within the first 4 games of first set, BACK them.

Points don't matter.

Constants you've already put in the trigger are fine.

If you would like me to send you a £5 payment over PayPal to say thanks for working on this for me then please let me know your PayPal email.
