trebles
« on: 26 Aug 2014, 18:47 »
Hi is it possible to lay trebles and keep track of when a treble is dead. I would like a trigger to lay this way if it is possible.
I have 9 horses or football teams  named A B C  D E F G H I
1st treble is ABC
2nd treble EDF
3rd treble IGH
4th treble ADG
5th treble EBH
6th treble IFC
7th treble AEI
8th treble ECG
Thanks in advance for any help if it can be done
Regards Andrew

Hi Mcbee i suppose that question is null and void if the treble is placed as the bet would have won. For example if A loses 3 bets are finished so only 5 trebles left. If E loses another 3 bets are gone and if I loses all bets are finished.
Cheers Andrew

hi
can you give some examples, because there are many ways to do trebles.
the one i know of is profit from a goes on b, profit from b goes on c.
so there would be 8 starting bets a,e,i , a,e,i , a,e .
or do you just want the same bet amount placed on a,b and c etc, in groups of 3.

Hi mcbee i would be laying 8 trebles for £10 each so £10 lay on A B C and so on. the bet is to lay a union jack this will explain it better than me

hi
so 10 on A , profit goes on B , profit goes on C .
and so on for each set of trebles.

yes mcbee i think it would be best to have selections in constants
A arsenal
B blackburn
C chelsea
D derby
E everton
F fulham
G grimsby
H hull city
I ipswich
so my 1st treble would be
arsenal blackburn and chelsea
2nd treble
arsenal derby grimsby
3rd treble
arsenal everton ipswich
so i would be laying arsenal for 30 pounds my next trebles would start with E
4th treble
everton derby fulham
5th
everton blackburn hull city
6th
everton chelsea grimsby
7th
ipswich hull ipswich
and last would be
ipswich fulham chelsea.
i will be doing mostly horses with this bet hope this helps you out
cheers

hi
sorry but it is this bit that is confusing me ,
Quote
but it wont be profit it will be losses
i need bet amount examples .
a treble as i know, is back for 10 then the profit goes on the next and that profit goes on the next.
i cannot see how starting with 10 and then the losses go on the next, because if the first bet is a loss, that treble is dead.

Hi if the 1st bet loses at 3 the next bet is 30 which is lost 20 plus 10 stake if that loses at 2 then the next is 70 that is 60 for losses and 10 for stake and thats the treble finished.
It is loss recovery for 3 bets only for lots of different bets
Cheers

hi
we are getting somewhere now.
so the first bet has a bet amount constant.
the second bet is the first bets loss amount plus the bet amount.
the third bet is the first bet loss amount plus the second bet loss amount plus the bet amount.
at any time a bet wins, then the treble is complete.
also what price constants do you require.

Hi mcbee im not sure yet about prices but they are mostly going to be between 1.4 and 4 but they wont be hard to change.
I will be trying to have my banker lay at a short price so i will be juggling the selections to suit the bet.

hi
i am not sure that this will be posible, the first market in a treble must be the first market to start, then when this market has settled the next market needs to start and so on.
i will be working to try and use variables to record prices and profit/loss for each market, but if in any treble the second or third market must not start before the first market, same with the third market must not start before the second market.
can you confirm that your markets in the trebles will be starting in order of first, second and third, also that the markets will have at least 10 minutes between finish time and the start of the next meeting, to give time for the market to be settled.
