  • Hello,

I am looking for a trigger to lay the SP favourite inplay if its price drifts to 15.

I have tried several times to do this but my trigger does not always pick the SP favourite.

    Thanks

  • hi
    here is your trigger.
in the constants you can set
    bet amount
bet type   fixed or liabililty (i recomend liability for this)
minimum lay price before placing the lay bet
    maximum lay price to take

the trigger will place a lay bet to your maximum lay price, if the selection is the SP favourite and the lay price rises to your minimum set lay price.

please use test mode until you are happy with your settings

  • Thanks mcbee,

Just caught the last two races, bet only fired on last race which turned out to be a dead heat.
I will do more testing tomorrow.

    Thanks again,

    Graham

  • Hi mcbee.

Spoke too soon, in the 15.40 at Fontwell, the selection chosen was "Overclear" which was not the SP favourite, all other races so far though the selection has been the correct one, this was happening with the triggers I was trying to do too. I have change some thing with the trigger you made but don't see how this could make a difference. I have attached file for you to look at anyway.

    Cheers,

    Graham

  • hi
i have added a condition to make sure that the SP is greater than 1.01
betfair might have been slow to put the SP values, so when the race started all selections would have been 0 SP so the first selection that was within your set price would have been bet on.

  • Great, I'll test this out too. Just feeling confident that everything will be smooth.

  • Hi mithcd, I would proceed with caution. I found that too many selections would drift out get matched and then go on to win, wiping out profits.
