The old chestnut. When is best time to bet. I'm sure I could improve upon BSP.
The market is so jerky nowadays which I think foils bots that use wom etc
or am I wrong in thinking that.?
Can you recommend any strategy or choice of strategies to consider. ?

Hi,
My trigger placed a bet in running when requested odds was matched. 
The trigger has a condition odds >2.4 the BSP was 1.87 
How can I prevent it from firing inplay. Is it a condition 'minutes before off is >=0' ?

can't see your trigger so can't be sure but:
market status field in the trigger should be: idle or suspended

and if you wanted a failsafe, add this condition:
and not markets race status is off

for the last condition, in the settings for monitoring options, download race status should be ticked
