writing selection to cell in excel

Hi,

I have a trigger, reasonably simple, and it grabs the selection from a text file, and criteria are met before it is decided to place the bet, etc...

I have set a stake value in a cell within a spreadsheet loaded through MFP, and I use that to stake on the selection.

I now want to be able to write the selection into a cell in the sheet I use... So, using Sheet1....

In the trigger,
I added an action to "Write to Excel"
I have set the Text to be "sel_name"
I have set the Cell Address to cell_Sheet1_E1...

My intention is to write the selection which has had a bet placed, into cell E1 of Sheet1

This has not wrote anything to E1, even though a bet has been placed on a number of occasions.

is "sel_name" incorrect? I have tried sel_name, that does not work either...
