  • hi
the reason why you had a loss, was because of the rule 4, for the withdrawn runner.

  • Did not knew about that rule, and I guess I don't really understand it because to me it makes no sense.

If there is a withdraw runner. That should impact on the odds off the other horses right away, and not when I make a LIVE bet at 1.06 and then they realize "hey, theres a withdraw runner in this race, lets take some money."

with the selections price been about 4.00 , then the rule 4 hits hard.
if the price was 2.00 it would be even worse.
it is so that the bookies can re price the odds without lossing money.

Yeah... but isnt really a good workaround is it? I mean, in football when a player gets the red card that will make a huge impact on the odds, right? Why a similar thing, doesn't happen in the races? They knew, before the start of the race that said runner would be  withdraw. Then the race goes live, we make a bet at 1.06 just to realize, once the race is finished and the horse we betted on wins we will lose money...

Well... at least it's just a stupid rule and not a problem with my trigger or marketfeeder. Thanks for the info mcbee.
