  • Hi all,

For the last couple of weeks I've been playing with a cute set of triggers which surprisingly started winning me some money, to the point where I got reluctant to give it away.
But then I thought, hey, not with my bad luck in betting! I'm more interested in a good chat about it.

Here is a video demonstrating how my triggers work.

Try to guess what is happening and how exactly it is set up in the triggers. Consider it a case study, there are quite a few interesting nuances to it.
Also attaching an extract from my yesterday's real account statement.

If you need more videos and/or pictures, that's fine, will do my best to provide them. And of course I'll be participating in this thread actively.

    Good luck. :)

  • I've been struggling to make similar triggers, so will be watching this thread with interest. Have you come up with some ideas as to what to do with partially matched bets Oxa?

  • Welcome to this thread bumblebee.

Have you come up with some ideas as to what to do with partially matched bets Oxa?

I believe so, yes. My bets are very small at the moment, but I may have one of them matched at more than one price. If I happen to have such a case, I'll try to make a snapshot of it.

  • Hey pcal72! :)

They're not always all of the same color, but for the post part of it, yes.
Any ideas what's the principle behind it?

But sems at the start the odd of back of fav as odd of  Sp at lay side, so maybe that was one condition, right?

Not quite, but close to the truth. I'd say you could trade with these triggers in markets that do not support SP.

  • Hi
Question: is LAY book % a condition to cancel then back?
Request: please could you show the Active Triggers Window in the next vid?
    Nice music for trading.

  • Hi Mark,

Question: is LAY book % a condition to cancel then back?

Nope, the Lay book % is not used in this strategy. But watch for the keywords in the names of the triggers that you can spot on the screen when a pop-up window comes up.

Request: please could you show the Active Triggers Window in the next vid?

Hmmm, wouldn't that take all the fun away, i.e. you would see all the triggers and what they do, wouldn't you?

Steamers and drifters? So it all depends on where the prices of those horses go right?

    That's right bumblebee.

Yeah, why not the trigger file itself. ;-)
