Access violationwith latest version 8.7.8.3

When accessing Market Locater manually,I get the following error :
"Access violation at address 132F2755 in module 'mlocater.dll'. Read of address 00000404."

Reverted to previous version and no problem.

Could you please attach your Program Log for the day when Market Locator started acting this way?
Did the error come up each time you opened it or only intermittently?

Sorry but I deleted my program log on exit.

This is what and when the access violation error happens.

My Markets are automatically updated every half hour. Nevertheless I sometimes manually activate the Market Locator to see markets further ahead of the half hour period. When I do manually activate, I see the search/progress indicator is running under the "Market Locator" heading. That's when I see the access violation error.

However, the search/progress indicator keeps running for much much longer than usual with no markets updates occurring.

I hope this helps you find the problem.

New version seems to be working as it should now and no more problems as above.

Oxa, unfortunately the access violation probelm has occurred again. It's intermittent.

If the search/progress indicator is on under the "Market Locator" heading, therefore I assume my automatic update was activated as per the every half hour instruction.

But the indicator just keeps on running (without end apparently) without any update of events. During this time, if I manually activate the "Market Locator", that's when the error message pops up. But the program operates normally in all other respects.

I dunno...maybe a momentary "drop out" with my VPN server caused this problem in this latest version.

In previous versions, there was no "access violation" error in the same situation.

So I've reverted to the trusty previous MFP version with no same problem.

Can I ask for your Market Locator template file? Can you please attach the *.mfl file you're using?

...\MarketFeeder Pro 8\mlocator\WinOnly.mfl

That template file was probably corrupted so I replaced it with a backup and so far no more problem.

I have identified a bug in the procedure launching Market Locator and fixed it.

I believe if you redownload MF Pro and reinstall it, the issue should be gone now.

We will shortly release a version with a new build number.
