Account exposure
« on: 22 Jun 2013, 03:36 »
I need help with the following,

I have default bets set to 0.01 and every time my trigger goes to place a bet I get a message saying account exposure exceeded or available to bet balance.

These are Australian Horse race markets I have made sure that there is money in the AUS wallet and the Main wallet, this didn't help. I have tried an increased bet amount and that doesn't work

Hi
It might be worth logging in to your Betfair account on the website and checking your account settings for Loss Limit and also to verify your current exposure level.

Do you have the following setting set:
Settings > Betting Options > Betting > Allow small bets
please also bear in mind betfair.com.au stipulate their minimum bet size as AUD 5.00

Hi

Thanks for the response. I have loss limit set to no limit in my betfair account. Yes I do have small bets ticked. I thought with that small bets ticked it gets around the minimum $5 bet.

Hi
I have tested this using default back amount of £0.01 in UK horse racing markets in real mode.
The bets get placed OK. I can only generate the error message if indeed I do not have sufficient funds in my account.
For 1 x back bet at $0.01 you will need $5.01 in your account for the allow small bets process to work.
