Auto GreenUp Error with SP Bets
« on: 16 Feb 2018, 14:23 »
Hi,

I am wanting to place a back bet and then use Auto GreenUp to place the lay bet straight away (attempt to green up) and also use the stop loss function.

If I place a manual back bet either before the race (idle) or when the race is running (in play) it all works as it should.

However, I ideally want to place the back bet at SP. The bet is matched when the market goes in play but AutoGreenUp doesn't place the lay bet under the attempt to green up function. No action whatsoever.  If I untick this, ordinary green up does recognise the bet and place the lay bet when the price conditions allow.

I have tried using the attempt to green up trigger and this works as it should with SP Back bets. It just seems an error with the Auto GreenUp function and YES, I do have bet in play ticked.

I am using the latest version of the software, updated by me this morning. I updated as the same problem was evident in the previous version when I tried the process last night.

Hope you can sort it.

Thanks

Hello!

This is not exactly an error. The "attempt to green up" function is working automatically only with regular bets. An SP bet may or may not be matched at In-Play, so technically it is not eligible for an immediate attempt to green up. So the Auto-Greenup functionality does not apply to SP bets.

You should indeed use triggers to attempt to green up in such cases.
Always try your triggers in Test Mode before switching to real money!
