auto logging off
« on: 12 Sep 2013, 05:26 »
hi,
I am having trouble with one of my two profiles
shutting down without warning.
Twice in the space of 3 hours in the middle of
the night when no matches were underway it disappeared.
It has been happening over several months although
I don't often run two at once.
Anyone have any suggestions as to why this happens?
I could understand it if there were a load of transactions
taking place in the form of data requests or bet placements
but that is not the case.
Thanks
R

I've just now read a posting covering this auto closing of profile
by 'fatiki'
I'll confirm that my account is funded and I do reside in the UK.
I also receive those error messages he mentions
ie: No session, getting funds error etc.
Looking forward to hearing any suggestions.
Thanks

Hi
"No Session" and related errors can really be one of 3 issues:
either there was a problem with Betfair API
or your internet connection was down for a while or intermittent
or something is blocking your internet connection to Betfair.

MarketFeeder needs a stable internet connection. Some of your earlier posts also indicate some internet problems, and I would be inclined to think this is the source of the problem.

Do you still get buffering issues with Skype / youtube?
Please try an internet test:
http://www.pingtest.net/
http://www.speedtest.net/
what are the results.
If you can confirm you have a good stable internet connection, we can eliminate that and concentrate on other possibles.

Hi Mark,
I ran the ping test and mostly get an A grade however occasionally a B grade
Speed test 18ms ping DS 16.00 and US 4.80.
These errors are commonplace.
Is this only to do with internet? If so I need to get in a BT technician in to look at it.
Today I have been getting a 'token' error message saying too many attempts to log into BF is this also Internet related ?

Thanks
R
