  • Hello!

Download the exe file and install it. The trigger file will be copied to this location:

    c:\Users\%username%\MarketFeeder Pro 8\triggers\

  • Hello!

Why do the ”Backing in Place markets on horses at >= 1.6, with a Profit Accumulator” not bet when the price is above 1.6 and below 3.0? I have seen it happen several times. For me the trigger has only bet one time so far.

  • You need to check the log of the backing trigger: there could be various reasons for the trigger to not place the bet, and they should be recorded in the log.

  • Okay. I need help. I checked the log of the trigger and it says the following.

14:59:32   Checking market "Horse Racing / GB / Nott 10th Apr / 15:00 Nott 10th Apr - To Be Placed".
14:59:32   Checking condition and Market's Status is Idle.
14:59:32   Condition is: TRUE. valid for 1 selections: Enchanted Linda.
14:59:32   Checking condition and Market's Minutes Before the Off is equal or less than mins_before_start.
14:59:32   Condition is: TRUE. valid for 1 selections: Enchanted Linda.
14:59:32   Checking condition and Selection's Back Price is between min_price and max_price.
14:59:32   Condition is: TRUE. valid for 1 selections: Enchanted Linda.
14:59:32       Checking condition or Selection's Trigger Expression bet_cntr is equal to 0.
    14:59:32       Condition is: FALSE.
14:59:32       Checking condition or Previous Triggered Event's Minutes Before the Off is less than -30.
    14:59:32       Condition is: FALSE.
14:59:32   Remaining conditions in the block will not be checked.

What does it mean? The odds were 2.28. Why does it not bet? What other condition is there than the odds?

  • hi
that means the previous race has not been settled.
this will happen if the race times are too close.

  • Thank you.
Then my question is why it matters when there is not a bet on the previous race? I think the trigger should ignore that when there is no bet on the previous race. It ends up betting on so few races per day.

  • hi
the last race that had a bet placed OR 30 minutes after , this is so that if a race has not been settled for 30 minutes it will continue betting.

  • Okay. If I understand you correct, you mean that the trigger will bet if the previous race whit a bet has been settled?

In that case I think something is wrong. I have run it for 12 hours from this morning on Australia and United Kingdom races. It has bet 2 times and I have seen it miss many races whit odds between 1.6 and 3.0, long after the previous race whit a bet has been settled. Is it really supposed to do that?

Thank you for any help you can give me. It looks like a good trigger. Just wish it would bet on more races.

can you please include a screen shot of the program log ( top right of mfp screen) for the races that had bets placed and a few markets after.

  • Have you turned on the setting to automatically delete settled markets?
  • #12 by Darlan on 10 Apr 2019
  • Here is my screen shot of the program log. I do not know if this is what you meant that you wanted to see? For the most part it says what runners have been withdrawn. When I looked at the log I remembered that I turned Marketfeeder Pro off at around 9:00. And I turned it back on at around 12:00. So it was around 9 hour’s total. Can this be why it decided to bet again? Do I have to restart Marketfeeder Pro after every settled bet? I would prefer not to have to sit at the computer all the time it is running. I just want to do that in the beginning to make sure the trigger is working.

The setting to automatically delete settled markets was on by default and I have not changed it.

  • hi
for some reason or other the markets are not been settled.
can you please include screen shots of the monitoring options and test mode settings (top of mfp screen settings then choose monitoring options then test mode).

  • Here is my screen shot of the monitoring options and test mode settings. By the way, I am not using test mode. I have test mode turned off. After I used Marketfeeder Pro for 1.5 weeks (in test mode), I got a warning from Betfair saying that my data usage profile is consistent with a commercial user. And that is not allowed. They say that I either have to bet real money or buy a data licence. And as you probably already know, a data licence costs £299. So I am using real money.
