  • If in-play events won't go in-play, is it because Betfair API might be down?

  • Hi
The API is not down at the moment, although there have been several outages during the last few days, and one a short while ago. I have just tested and can get IP markets OK in MarketFeeder.

Also on the left of this screen there is an API status indicator.

Ok. Any ideas why don't go in-play? English horse races.

  • All races / all markets or only certain ones?
I read in the Betfair HelpDesk Twitter feed the racing at Kempton was delayed.
If races were due off during an outage they would not be turned in-play.
    Maybe weather or other circumstances.
If all markets don't go in-play please check your settings:
Settings > Monitoring Options > Stop monitoring Events...

  • I think this is due to the fog at one of the meetings last night...
