Betting below the 2 pound limit

You can adjust the amount of the small bet you want to compensate in the settings.

If you set it to £0.2, the program will attempt to lay it as before, but with first placing it at 1.04 instead of 1.01 as previously. If you lay at anything less than 1.04, your bet will likely stay incomplete, i.e. £2 at 1.01.

Do this at your own peril!

Hi oxa great job ive managed to get back to near normal but is there any way you could change the 1.04 for 20p to 1.10 to 10p so we could have slightly smaller bets cheers

I would like to vote for this as well, 1.10 would be better for me too. I don't currently go down to those odds, but I know that other people will and maybe I will in the future. Would it be possible for a choice?

I'm not running the new version but am now seeing some oddities with small back bets which I noticed yesterday afternoon.
See the log extract for some 0.01 bets that were OK and some that were not with no obvious logic.
Back price for Miss Milby at this time was 2.12

I Thought i was getting on ok this morning, then i get the error" there is an error that has caused the entire order lay .40 at 1.04 to be rejected, bet cannot be corrected or modified,"
when i work out liability it is.0416p so it would have been rounded down so no 25 percent round up, i just dont get it

If Betfair had changed the problem bets to a round down rather than round up surely all this could have been avoided and no-one would have lost out as we are talking about fractions of pence.

I Know its absolute rubbish as when you lay you are still laying over the minimum of 2 pounds

is this the end of this issue cause it is clearly a massive problem as discussed on betfair api problem, the fix doesnt work, if we cant bet below minimum you need to take it off completely

OK so I thought my bets all being accepted but looking through the logs this isn't the case.

Can anyone explain why these are being rejected? Is it a coincidence that only bets between 20p and 30p are being accepted?

I have my settings as place a back bet if less than 10p which none of these are?

I've just been through the logs in more detail and;

Lay bets lower than 20p are being rejected
Lay bets between 20p and 31p are being accepted
Lay bets between 32p and 39p are being rejected
Lay bets higher than 39p are being accepted

So for now I am going to update my trigger so if the stake I want to use is;

Less than 20p = place a 20p bet
Between 32p and 35p = place a 31p bet
Between 36p and 39p = place a 40p bet
Higher than 39p = place the stake as normal

Hopefully then there will be no more rejected bets. I will check my the logs throughout the day.

Its to do with the rounding up, if you are making a 20percent gain it will be rejected , an example of mine yesterday lay 33p at odds of12.5 =3.795, so betfair round it up t0 3.8 so its more than a 20 percent roundup, that why some are excepted and some not, think that is how it works. ,im trying to work a trigger expression out to only lay all in a dutch if non of the lays are affected by this rule

Hi, this can't be entirely true can it? I had a bet rejected that was £0.32 at odds of 4.00 which wouldn't need any rounding (0.96)

Also I had a bet accepted that was £0.23 at 4.90 which does result in a number that needed rounding (0.897)?

I know that is what the change was meant to stop, if you have a look on the betfair api forum, but there is no logic to it whats so ever, i know all the software companies are pulling their hair out over it
