Can't log in

Hi folks,

Anyone else having trouble logging in today?

Time now is 11am Brisbane time.

Message says "Empty XML".

Same here, went down an hour ago. I'm so lucky I got my bets matched before it went down otherwise I'd be on the phone to them 

Yeah, leaving your position open would be a disasterous situation

I think it went down around 00:30 GMT as that's when I personally begun experiencing problems, which is why I stupidly enough closed the application to then find after trying to re-login was completely locked out...

There have been a lot of login problems in the last few days ...

It's scary isn't it - came down to MF pro saying zero balance and as you can't even log i you have no idea how much you have left !! 

When there's a problem with BetFair API, it doesn't matter whether you are logged in to MF Pro or not: the program asks their server for your current funds and list of bets every several seconds, so if the API is down, you'll notice it immediately as it won't be able to proceed.

I'm really sorry to hear about this annoying stuff, but there's little we can do.  

Update: right now their service is unavailable again. It returns an error message when trying to connect.

There is an official topic from BetFair regarding the problem.

Hi,  is your login validation server down again today as I am getting the message about the rgistration key not being valid  again.  What a disasterous few days this has been.

PS. It said "Internal Server Error" but it has now gone in on the third attempt after posting this.

Hi Alfaman,

In spite of the obvious today's server maintenance, BetFair did not update their status and had it as "Available" until recently.

But right now they are back online, so you should be able to log in.

I'm getting the following message

Error getting key

"ERROR 500"

I am using an older version 6.3.0.0 only because this is stable for me, however I don't want to risk having any problems with my triggers be updating to a newer one.

Any ideas?

i just checked the betfair website and all is fine there.

It's MFPros validation server I think

But they aren't answeriing support emails either

I'm using version 6.2.04 & I am having the same error message - 500.  I have sent two emails to support but haven't received the automated response & have tried clicking on the support link on previous responses from support & this throws up an error message and can't connect.

So I am assuming that the server must be down.

What a shame that this has to be my first post in the forum!

This has happened on the very rare occassion - they usually get it sorted reasonably quickly

I hope this holds true for today
