Connection error
« on: 04 May 2017, 06:48 »
Morning guys

Can't load up MFPro this morning. Receiving error message

"{error:Unable to send request, 33, code: The connection with the server was terminated abnormally}

Is this your end or my end?

Cheers

Nope, works as usual from my point.
What does "secure browser" tab show?
What location do you access BetFair from?

Hi Chilli

betfair was down for a while this morning, hence the problem.

a useful bookmark to have is this one

http://status.developer.betfair.com/

It lets you know if the api is having any issues.  Then you can check out

https://twitter.com/BetfairCS?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor

which is betfairs customer services twitter feed, which normally has the most up to date info about what's happening with any current outage.

Hope that helps

I've just had exactly the same problem after applying some Windows updates.

I normally use Chrome as a browser and couldn't even use the "secure browser" login option.

This was saying that the site: https://identitysso.betfair.com couldn't be reached - all other sites were working fine and MF was working fine before rebooting.

Adding the URL above as a "Trusted Site" in internet options appears to have fixed the problem.

Please note, BetFair is seems to be currently OFFLINE
