doubt in variable
« on: 16 Mar 2015, 00:54 »
Please, what variables I use in this case:

1.00 on lay bet on the third favorite with ODD to 8:00, using the Third Favorite Selections option

after a while I want to make a bet back in the amount of 7.00 that same horse, but it may be that he is no longer in third place and his ODD is for example 2.00, which variables and conditions I use?

Hi
I think it will be better to use distribute loss or spread loss, but please see attached screenshot.

The first trigger is distribute loss (or use spread loss)
The second trigger is de-activated (only use 1 of these), it backs at 1.01 which will be matched at the best available price when it reaches the market.

Please use test mode for testing.

hi mark,

Hi
it backs at 1.01 which will be matched at the best available price when it reaches the market.

I am just wondering there any difference between backing at "best" and betting at "1.01" ?  In theory both will be matched the same, but for a larger bet would 1.01 absolutely be matched whereas I dont know about "best" due to time lag etc

thanks

Hi
I think they are one and the same - you can use best or 1.01, or for that matter any minimum price you are willing to accept to get matched at. For example r_ticks(back_price, -20)
