Engineer Values round up/down
« on: 12 Mar 2016, 11:55 »
Hi,

Can I use the ROUND function in the engineer values to eliminate unwanted decimal placings?

Its much easier to read 2.70 than 2.695000

I have tried

ROUND(2)
(ROUND(2))
((ROUND(2))trigexpress)

Thanks
Larp

Hi Larp
I don't think ROUND is a supported function in MF. We've got INTEGER but that takes away everything after the decimal. The only other way I can think of is to send it to Excel and use ROUND there and send the value back to MF, rather cumbersome.

Thanks Mark.

Its not a major inconvenience, its just quicker to read two decimals. As Paul Daniels used to say "Every Second Counts"  :)
