engineers mode if function
« on: 30 May 2014, 07:50 »
hi everyone

just wondering can you use the if function in engineer mode ?
in the formula window I have written the following :-

=IF(sel_wom<0.5;"lay";"")

and it just displays the formula with the wom updating ? should it return the word "lay" or nothing  ??? depending on the wom figure

any comments to point me in the right direction would be appreciated

thanks

you are using openoffice format, this is excel format and you do not need the =
openoffice   ;  is  ,  in excel
copy and paste this formula

IF(sel_wom<0.5,lay,-)
