Error message

Hi all,

Does anybody know why I get the following message in trigger logs,

Error in the trigger expression of price or amount for selection "xxxxxxxx".
All bets will be discarded.

I am sure the error is in the price. I have the expression "lay_price" and if I

change it to, for example, "last_traded" the error message goes, however, I

don't want "last_traded" or anything else for that matter.

It doesn't seem to be affecting the trigger, it's just very irritating.

Is there a lay price being offered at the time of evaluating the trigger expression? If not it will mess up the expression. You can test for a valid lay price with a condition before the condition where the expression is evaluated e.g. selection's lay price is between 1.01 and 500.

if you turn on this setting, it should give some clue as to what is amiss:
Settings > Betting Options > Triggers > Log trigger expressions

If your trigger expressions are being logged they will appear in the trigger logs with a calculator symbol to the left. See screenshot.

This should be of help in determining the fault with your trigger expression.

it would be a lot easier and quicker for us, if you included your trigger, so that we can see where the problem is.
there are a few reason's why you would get this message.
