Error on in-play bet

Please can anyone tell me why I am getting this error. There is nothing else happening around the time of the error.

You are trying to place a bet below the minimum amount of £ 2. Such bets are placed in four steps:
1. Place a bet with a minimum amount £ 2 at 1.01 (for laying) or 1000.0 (for backing).
2. Add the intended amount to the bet, which splits it in two.
3. Amend the price of the smaller part.
4. Cancel the initial £ 2.

The log says that your initial bet had been matched by the time the program tried to amend it. Therefore, you are advised to either not place small bets at all or not do so when the prices are dangerously close to the edge.

Thanks. However that does not seem to have been the case as the statement shows the correct bet was matched. This is occuring regularly so not just a one-off.

The error message is generated by BetFair in response to trying to adjust your bet (like I said above).

You should probably contact BetFair directly about the particular reason of this error, but I wouldn't recommend it as the bet is below the minimum.
