Yes, in TimeMachine (in test mode to be precision) it's not possible to simulate situation of current amount offer insufficiency.
So if the bet price is "good" enough it's matched in full whatever the current offer and bet amount are.
Due to that in test mode you can't actually affect the market by placing bets.
In additional TimeMachine data has 1 second threshold according to the Historical Data license. And the data doesn't have "all price offers", just 3 "best" each side.
So the results could be different in TimeMachine (test mode), in Test mode (real markets) and Real mode.
