Hello!

I can confirm that the API service has been unavailable for several periods of time over the last 2 days. I had the same error messages at roughly the same time in different instances of MF Pro.

Hi Oxa
Even when the API is operating, the "zero balance" issue recurs intermittently, with no errors reported in the log. Please see Reply#1 in this topic for a screenshot

All greyhound markets greyed out  around 12:50 pm (BST) today.  All were restored after running ML again.  Is this a Betfair problem - no info on their Twitter helpdesk?

I am trying to work on this together with BetFair. They need more specific data from me to start looking into why there is so often no response from their server in request for data from MF Pro. Literally, just nothing is returned from the API for several refreshes in a row.

It may take some time to gather and record that data. I appreciate that this is some sort of a crisis, but hopefully we will find a solution.

What I would suggest right now is increase the connection timeout time in Monitoring Options. Set it to 10 seconds instead of 5 and see if it will make any difference.

Add me to the list.
In addition I tried to place bets manually using the one click option but wouldn't work. It did a couple of days ago.

A further problem it displays Winner against a horse when the race hasn't been run.
I checked one of them and crikey it was Sha la la la dee which actually won at 25/1.
Could this be the working from the other side ?  eerie :)

Add me to the list - funds to -1 every hour or so and markets greyed out all over the place

I get the same issue with the balance going to minus one for a while.

I have two instances of MFP running at once and if I run them side by side, I notice that the balance in one instance will go to £-1.00 for a number of account refreshes, but the other one remains correct throughout. Then a while later the issuewill happen only to the instance that was fine before. Both instances refresh the account balance every 5 seconds.

Further to my last message...

I've watched the prices whilst MFP is in the "£-1.00" state and they don't seem to update, but the prices then carry on once the balance is correct again. Also, I've noticed that occasionally my scheduled search for new markets is missed, so I wonder if a scheduled search happens to coincide with the "£-1.00" state then nothing comes back.

I added a trigger earlier that runs every few seconds that will record the current time if the balance falls to £0 or below in both of my instances. I've put them together in the attached spreadsheet so you can compare the different timings and see how often this occurs and for how long.

I'm on the latest version of MFP 8.8.1.1

Hi Oxa,

Thank you for looking at this.

I've installed the newest version, 8.8.1.4 and I'm now getting these in the program log in both my instances, which I didn't get before...
18:39:12Error while getting available funds: Empty response from exchange
18:39:17Error while getting available funds: Empty response from exchange
18:39:22Error while getting available funds: Empty response from exchange
18:39:27Error while getting available funds: Empty response from exchange
The balance however, doesn't seem to change to £-1.00 like it did before.

I'll wait till the obvious problem is sorted. Hopefully soon no guarantee though.
