  • I am new to mf 7, I clicked trigger example "back pre-off steamer" (to have a look at it) now I can't get rid of it and I cannot find trigger editor button.I have uninstalled mf and all related files, but when I reinstall it is still there. I have used mf 6 for 5 years but cannot even get to write a simple trigger on mf 7 latest. please someone help.

  • hi
    you need to chill out.
v7 is good and takes a little time to understand.
the trigger editor saves the new alterations direct the normal trigger location, in the mfp saved location.
you must take time to look at the save lacation before pressing OK/enter.
first it is good to save to desktop, then when you are happy with the trigger, save to (your good/profit trigger location).
and when you start new markets, check the location/name of the trigger, after mfp WILL load the trigger from the LAST saved location.
you will soon learn how to operate/control v7.

  • thank you for the quick reply. I have spent 4 weeks trying to resolve this problem and since your reply another 10 hours. I have watched + read help videos etc. my problem is that when I click triggers on the MFP front page, I continually get trigger "BackPreOffSteamer" there is no trigger editor button in the top right hand corner. I cannot progress any further because I cannot get rid of this trigger. Could u please tell me ( in simple terms ) exactly what keys to press / click in order to get rid of it, so that I can start afresh in trying to master this. thank you in anticipation.

  • Hi
I might have replicated your problem by messing around with resizing the Active Triggers window I can get something as shown in the screenshot. The Trigger Editor button is hidden (attention Support).

Please try to create a new Profile with the default settings as shown in the second screenshot, and referenced in the manual section Login Window. Let us know if that resolves it.

  • thank you so much for your reply. YES I can now see the trigger editor button, so I will now press on and try to create a new trigger, file it and try to retrieve it. Many thanks.

  • Hi
By the way, there are a couple of other ways to access the Trigger Editor:
    • Double-click any trigger file
    • Start > All Programs > MarketFeeder Pro 7 > Trigger Editor
