  • Hi Guys,

I have an each way betting trigger for horse racing.

I bet the RANKED 1 horse name TEST BET in the WIN MARKET     and i      back in the PLACE market the RANKED 1 horse named TEST BET, everything is good no problems.

    BUT VERY OCCASIONALLY

I have a slight problem every so often in the PLACE MARKET  the RANKED 1 horse is a DIFFERENT NAMED HORSE say it is named WRONG BET but it is RANKED number 1. Sometimes the race starts and the markets did not have time to match the 2 exact RANKED 1 HORSES IN BOTH THE WIN AND PLACE MARKETS.

Is there a condition that will solve this problem???   i have tried       r_1_sel_name    is equal to     winplace_r_1_sel_name        but for some reason it will make a back bet in the WIN MARKET but not the PLACE market because the RANKED 1 horse is named something else, so i go into the race Only with a WIN BET.

Can i stop THE TRIGGER from making a BET if the 2 horses are not NAMED the same and RANKED 1 the same in the WIN / PLACE MARKETS ??????

This has been bugging me for sometime and i am out of ideas, any help would be apprieciated.

    Thanks Bonecrusher  :)

  • hi
ALL you had to do is check the example triggers, there is one for each way betting.
    the answer is
and trigger expression winplace_sel_order is equal to sel_order
put it in the win market betting trigger

  • Thanks mcbee,

Yes after some trigger placement i got it to work plus i needed to swap it around.

I used the trigger example just for the basics as what i have is more complicated as i am forced to use my TXT selections as an input to the field which grays out the rest of the field.

As MFPRO does not work with selection LISTS without the horses number in front of the name for AUSTRALIAN races 1.  2.   3. My selections don't come to me that way.

    Best Regards
