Help needed to convert Excel Formula for use in condition
«

y = 1.2999e
-0.055x is the formula for an exponential trendline in an Excel chart.
I want to use it in a condition where Y <
1.2999e-0.055x
The -0.055x is 'to the power of' but it disappears when posted
Please can someone show me how do I write it for MFP to interpret it correctly?
Thanks

I had a similar problem and unfortunately it looks like exponential functions are not implemented in MF Pro.
What I did was the following thing:
I plotted data points of the exponential function in OriginPro and found a best fit to the data set using a different power function that does not use

Hi
if your MFP session is linked to an Excel spreadsheet where the functions are being calculated you can use the cell values in a trigger expression, for example:
selections trigger expression cell_Sheet1_A2 is less than
cell_Sheet1_A1
