  • I have downloaded a trigger from the trigger library, that I now no longer require. But try as I may, I cannot get rid of it. I have uninstalled  and re-installed MFPro but it is still there. Could someone please tell me how to do it? Many thanks.

  • Hi,

Copy and paste to the Windows Explorer search bar, bottom left of computer.

    c:\Users\%username%\MarketFeeder Pro 8\triggers

Insert the user name you use on the computer, hit search and it will locate the trigger library folder where you can delete unwanted triggers.

  • Hi Larp

Many thanks for your prompt reply.  I am sorry but I have been trying to do what you said but without success.  I do not really understand exactly how to do what you have suggested. I do not know what you mean by Windows Explorer search bar at bottom left of computer. And where do I insert my user name ?
    Thank you

You could check out your previous post where you learned how to access the Trigger Editor.

    https://community.welldonesoft.com/marketfeeder-troubleshooting/have-lost-trigger-editor-button/msg29008/#msg29008

You can then delete any triggers.

  • Hi
It might be your Triggers link on the main screen has become inoperative? See attached screenshot, this happened to me this morning. I have a feeling it's a Windows Update that has caused it. I tried all the usual re-allowing though firewall etc. Opening a new Profile seems to have corrected it.

    UPDATE:
May be unrelated to your problem, if you have multiple monitors, and if you restart the program with one of the screens switched off, the trigger window etc. might be on the screen which is switched off! Fixed by switching on the other monitor and dragging the window back to the main screen.

  • Hi
Just to let you know I am back up and running again.  Thank you to Larp and MarkV for your valuable advice. I did act on all your suggestions, and my new profile came up exactly as per the above screen shot.(this was before I received said screen shot in your reply). The problem was that there was no delete box anywhere on the trigger or on the screen,- to click and get rid of it. In the end I clicked "open triggers" on the trigger screen, and deleted the actual trigger from the library list itself. This was probably the completely the wrong thing to do, but it got rid of the offending trigger. I have now been able to re-type in all my usual triggers (which I had no trouble erroneously deleting). The only problem I still have is that the top line on the trigger page "active triggers" still details the name of the trigger I got rid of.
    Thank you again.
