Simplest triggers not working properly

I've been trying out MFPro for the last couple of days and I've tried to keep at it but I just cannot work out why even the simplest of triggers always create different selections/random selections.

The easiest example I can explain is trying to use the Auto-Dutching option. I'll set it to pick the First 7 runners in an 8 runner race. Without fail I will get anywhere from 2 to 6 actual bets (and no unmatched bets either). Sometimes I get the correct 7, but I don't know why.
[other options of that bet: max payout: 50.00, profit: 0.02%, back side only, stop after each dutch = ticked, adjust amounts = ticked, bet in-play = off]
I'm using just test money so it's not a lack of funds either.

Another example (with an actual 'trigger' this time). I followed the "dutching with a trigger" tutorial and similar to above, I will get any random number of selections instead of what I expected. eg: I notice that 5 runners are below my threshold of 40. Instead, I only get 2 selected bets, even though the other 3 are well below 40.

I'm guessing that the problem exists with me rather than the program because I haven't been able to find any similar issues through a Google search. So would anyone be able to point out where I might be going wrong?

if you want to match a certain number of runners only,then add the condition.
and trigger expression matching_number is equal to (the number you require)

Would anyone have any ideas why the standard auto-dutching isnt working properly?

I just tested autodutch and it worked perfectly.  Your settings may not allow an adequate dutch book, so fewer selections will be dutched.

A friendly word of caution once you get the auto dutching working in "test"
DO NOT assume that you will get the same results in test as in live.
The test has a very useful purpose in checking a whole range of scenarios and trigger functionality, but the results in test and in live especially in dutching will be quite different mainly because of refresh rates, trigger delay, internet speed and connections and actual amount available in live play the moment the match request is made.

Figured out why - minimum bet is $5. The auto-dutch bets that didn't come through were below this threshold.

There's a check box in the settings to allow bets below minimum.
