lay price is less than 50% of the traded volume at the back price

Before entering at back bet , I want my trigger to check the lay price is less than 50% of the traded volume at the back price. I then wnat the trigger to place a bet when teh price deceases in price by 1 tick. I take it the r_ticks function would not work for this would it? Thanks again

How can a lay price be compared to the traded volume?

Ssorry lrt me be clear ,

i want to trade when the horse is at its top range, i identify this by what's been traded at the last three back prices and the current and next to lay prices.

example horse
lay_ price 3 4.80 has £800 traded on it
lay_ price 2 4.7 has £900 traded-ont it
current lay price has £1000 traded on it
current back_price 4.5 has 1000 traded on it
back_price 2 4.40 has 2000 trraded on it
back_price 3 4.30 has 15000 traded on it

As the above horse has a 1000 or above traded on all three back price and lay_price2-3 have less than 1000 traded on it i class this as top range. i want to then back this horse as the price should go down.

do i write this as below
last_traded_lay_price amount equal or greater than 1000
last_traded_lay_price 2 amount is less than 1000
last_traded_ lay_price3 amount is less than 1000
last_traded_back_price amount is equal or greater than 1000
last_traded_back_price 2 amount is equal or greater than 1000

would that work?

You should use the traded_{price} variable, e.g. traded_lay_price, traded_lay_price2, etc.
